Eugene Hernandez

Eugene Hernandez is a mobile technology professional with 8 years of experience in the Value Added Services (VAS) business. He began his career in the Information Technology industry by becoming a Certified Oracle Professional in 2002. In 2003 Euge joined the mobile arena as a Project Manager with Information Gateway, the number one mobile content provider in the Philippines, where he handled the growing Sun Cellular account together with corporate accounts such as Nestle and Summit Media. He then moved on to handle mobile VAS content acquisition for Sun Cellular.

In 2007, he eventually landed the Mobile Operations Head position with ABS-CBN Interactive and managed the media giant's domestic and international mobile content distribution business. In this role, Euge provided critical support together with the local telecommunications companies (Smart, Globe, Sun Cellular) in launching ABS-CBN's mobile programs while also exploring new businesses in digital marketing. In 2010 he then joined Entertainment Gateway Group as its Head for Mobile VAS Sales, a mobile content provider wholly-owned by Globe Telecom.

Currently, Euge serves as a management consultant for their family-owned business which is in the automobile trailer manufacturing industry.
